A Little Bit of Shepard House History:

Built in the early 1900's, our home was originally called "The Fair View House" because of the beautiful view of the valley. It was then opened as a boarding house. At the time, guests would come into the local train station and continue by coach to many local boarding houses much like ours.

In 1910 the Trabulsi Family from New York bought the Fair View House and added the porch and third floor. They kept it as a summer retreat until it was sold in 1986. The Trabulsi Family also owned Wolf Hollow Golf Course, which is now called the Delaware Water Gap Country Club.

The Shepard House was opened in 1990 and now welcomes guests to come and enjoy the scenic Pocono Mountains and all they have to offer.
